Day:- 2 PORT BLAIR – ROSS ISLAND AND NORTH BAY ISLAND | |||
After breakfast, take a ferry from Andaman Water Sports Complex to Ross Island and North Bay. Ross Island: Explore the historical remnants, including the Chief Commissioner’s House and Church, in a dilapidated condition. Ideal for history enthusiasts and nature lovers. North Bay: Known for its exotic coral and marine life, engage in optional activities like glass-bottom boat rides and scuba diving (direct payment basis). Day:- 3 PORT BLAIR TO HAVELOCK – RADHANAGAR BEACH – PORT BLAIR | |||
Early in the morning, you’ll depart for Havelock Island by Govt. ferry or Private Cruise, a journey of approximately 2 and a half hours from Port Blair. Upon reaching Havelock, our representative will welcome you and take you to Radhanagar Beach, also known as Beach No. 7. This beach, considered the jewel of Havelock Island, gained international acclaim when Time magazine rated it as the best beach in Asia in 2004. With its extensive stretch of white sand, it’s an ideal spot for activities like swimming, sea bathing, and sunbathing. Day:- 4 BARATANG – LIMESTONE CAVE | |||
Embark on an early morning road trip from Port Blair to Baratang Island, approximately 110 km away. Traverse lush tropical forests and the Jarawa Tribal reserve in a convoy, offering the possibility of encountering a member of the Jarawa Tribe. Following the forest drive, reach Baratang jetty for a captivating fiber boat ride through picturesque mangroves. This boat journey leads to the starting point of the trek to the Lime Stone Caves. Trek through dense forests to reach the Limestone Cave, a captivating natural wonder with stunning formations, providing insights into its history and geology. Day:- 5 CITY TOUR – CHIDIYATAPU | |||
After breakfast, explore the following places in Port Blair: Cellular Jail: Also known as Kaala Paani, it is a historic monument built by the British in 1906. Used as a colonial prison during India’s struggle for independence, it now serves as a national memorial, reminding visitors of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. Samudrika Marine Museum: A must-visit for marine life enthusiasts, the museum showcases over 350 varieties of marine life, including clownfish, clam shells, corals, and a complete blue whale skeleton. It offers insights into the marine biodiversity of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Anthropological Museum: Ideal for those interested in the cultural and social history of the islands, this museum displays the lifestyle, traditions, and artifacts of indigenous tribes, including the Jarawas, Shompens, Onges, Nicobarese, and Sentinelese. Chatham Saw Mill (Forest Museum): Asia’s oldest sawmill, it is located on a small island connected to Port Blair by a bridge.
